Pocket shut down in July 2025. If you read on a Kindle, Kobo or PocketBook, you need something that works in a basic e-ink browser. Here is how interQ works for that, and where it stops.
What you get
- One feed, built from the sites and blogs you follow (any RSS source).
- A simple page made for e-ink. Your reader opens it in its web browser. Nothing to install on the reader.
- Updates from your phone. Add a source on your phone, and it is there the next time you open the feed.
- Works with Kindle, Kobo, PocketBook and other e-ink browsers.
How to set it up (about 5 minutes)
- On your phone or computer, open interq.link and create a free account. Doing this away from the reader avoids typing passwords on e-ink.
- Build your feed. Add the sites and blogs you follow in the interQ app.
- Send the feed link to your reader. Open it in your reader's web browser and bookmark it if your browser supports bookmarks.
- Read. Choose an item to open the original article link. Use "Next page" to load more items.
- Update on your phone whenever you want to add or change sources.
Not sure what to add? Open Discover (accounts to follow and their latest posts) or Trending (the newest posts across interQ).
Honest limits
- No automatic delivery. interQ does not send EPUB files or use Send to Kindle.
- No saved reading position.
- The reader shows feed items and opens the original article pages. It does not rewrite or extract the article text.
- E-ink browsers vary. Some older models are slow or limited.
- Sign-in can be awkward on a reader. Use your phone for the account.
Who it fits
- You read blogs, news sites and newsletters with RSS feeds and want them in one place.
- You want your e-reader to open a list that loads fast.
- You do not need files delivered to the device.
Who it does not fit
- You want articles converted into books and pushed to your device automatically.
- You want to save any single web page from any site with one click.
FAQ
Is interQ a Pocket replacement?
For one job: a queue of sources you follow that opens on your phone, in a browser and on an e-reader. It is not a full copy of Pocket.
Do I need an app on my Kindle?
No. You use the reader's web browser.
Does it cost anything?
It is free to start.
Which e-readers work?
Kindle, Kobo, PocketBook and other e-ink browsers. Support depends on the model's browser.
